1. Our Goal
We want VentureOff to work for people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at Level AA. This goal covers our website at ventureoff.co, the participant platform, and the console that program administrators use.
2. What We Have Done
- In September 2026 we ran a full accessibility review of the website, the participant platform, and the administrator console. We used automated testing and scripted keyboard testing in both light and dark themes.
- We fixed what that review found. We raised the contrast of text and buttons. We added skip links and a clear focus outline. We rebuilt our drop-down menus and dialogs to work with a keyboard. We gave form fields and controls proper labels. We fixed the heading order on many pages.
- Animation now slows down or stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Every change to our code now runs an automated accessibility check on our public and sign-in pages. If a change adds a new problem to those pages, the check fails and tells us.
3. Known Limitations
Some parts of VentureOff do not yet meet our target. We are working on them. If one of these affects you, please contact us and we will help you another way.
- We have not yet tested with screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver. We have not yet tested with screen magnifiers such as ZoomText.
- Some program videos may not have captions, transcripts, or audio description yet.
- Administrators reorder program content by dragging it. There is no keyboard way to do this yet.
- Some tables in the administrator console open a record when you click a row. Assistive technology does not yet announce these rows as links.
- A few pages scroll sideways when the window is very narrow or zoomed in a lot.
- The card payment form comes from Stripe. The video player comes from YouTube. We cannot change their code. Both companies publish their own accessibility reports.
- Images that program authors upload or that our AI tools create may not have a useful text description.
- Files you export as PDF, Word, PowerPoint, or Excel documents have not been checked for accessibility yet. Exported PDF files are likely not tagged for screen readers.
- The rich text editor and some advanced administrator tools still need a full keyboard and screen reader review.
- Some co-branded partner pages use partner colors. Some of their text does not yet have enough contrast.
- We have not yet checked every page by hand for zoom, text spacing, and content that appears on hover.
4. Report a Barrier
If any part of VentureOff is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Email accessibility@ventureoff.co.
Tell us the page or feature and what you were trying to do. Tell us what happened. It also helps to know your browser and any assistive technology you use. Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
If you need program content in another format, write to the same address. We will work with you to provide it.
5. What Happens Next
- We will reply within 2 business days to confirm we have your message.
- We will tell you what we plan to do and when.
- If a fix will take time, we will help you reach the same result another way.
- We will let you know when the fix is live.
